Using muted colors, strong darks and lights, and perspective,

I am aiming to draw my viewer in. I hope that my paintings not only shed light on a particular time and place but that they also stand on their own as a part of the continuum that is the history of art. As a working artist it is important for me that the images formed in my work convey to my audience my love of painting.
